The "Caleño" Way

A "Hola" or "Buenos días" goes a long way. We appreciate every effort to speak Spanish, no matter how small.

When using apps (Uber/Cabify), riding in the front seat is appreciated. Also, our car doors are lighter—no need to slam them!

Caleños are rarely straightforward with a "no." If someone is being vague, it's often their way of being polite.

Cali is "The Eternal Warm." There are no seasons, only warm days and refreshing tropical rains that clear as quickly as they arrive.

While we love summer weather, we take nightlife style seriously. Tank tops and sandals are often sent back home—dress to impress for salsa clubs!

The golden rule of Colombia: don't put yourself at risk. Keep tech and jewelry low-profile, take Ubers after dark, and trust your guide's intuition.
